Leading into Sydney in 2000, Elite Sports Properties (leading sports management / marketing company) identified the need for a venue that athletes could call their own during major sporting events. The decision was made to launch a new concept in athlete and corporate hospitality – The Last Lap was born.
This unique hospitality concept offers athletes, corporates and the public a late night party destination where they can enjoy an exclusive environment with premier entertainment. With dedicated athlete access, designated VIP rooms and media controlled zones, The Last Lap quickly became the hottest venue for the athletes during the Sydney Games and "party with the athletes" became the catch cry.
ESP has since built on this successful concept, with The Last Lap entertaining athletes and party goers all round the globe – at the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics, The 2003 Rugby World Cup in Sydney, The 2004 V8 Super Cars in Shanghai and the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Once again ESP will host The Last Lap, this time in London, from 27 July 2012. We invite you and your clients, to join us and the athletes, between 27th July – 12th August as Chinawhite presents The Last Lap.
